iReca on the road for Greek Restaurant Parthenon!

iReca is rolling up its sleeves to help restaurant owners market their Restaurant App. Over the coming weeks, the iReca promo team will be crisscrossing the country to promote restaurants. From the first group of restaurants, iReca has picked Greek Restaurant Parthenon to participate in this unique venture.

Yesterday (November 7), was the first day of promotions. In the Appeldoorn city center, the iReca team successfully promoted the Restaurant Parthenon App! This promotion will continue a further two days, on Friday 8th and Saturday 9th of November.

In partnership with Restaurant Parthenon, iReca has undertaken an initiative that rewards guests with a complimentary cup of coffee on presenting the Restaurant App. By the evening, many guests had come with the App on their smartphone. This venture can already be considered a success! Over 3 days, the iReca promo team will distribute over 10,000 invitations in Apeldoorn.

Een aantal jaar terug deed Trendbox een onderzoek naar de verkoop van wijnen in restaurants. Door onvoldoende geschoold personeel zouden restaurant bezoekers in de leeftijd tussen de 25 en 34 jaar, een omzet van 10 tot 15 euro mislopen omdat er geen goed wijnadvies werd gegeven. Dit onderzoek werd gedaan bij restaurantbezoekers die met regelmaat wijn drinken. Maar wat kan je hier aan doen?
 
Verwacht geen wijnkennis bij je gasten. Deze zullen, wanneer er naar een wijnkeus gevraagd wordt, aangeven dat ze de huiswijn goed vinden. Gasten zijn op het gebied van wijn erg onzeker en zullen ook niet snel naar een advies vragen. Een bijpassende wijn verkopen doe je door je enthousiasme. Enthousiasme wordt door gasten gezien als zelfverzekerd, en daardoor verstand. Wanneer er zelfverzekerd een duidelijk advies wordt gegeven zijn gasten snel geneigd dat advies op te volgen. Maar dit gebeurd steeds minder. Dit komt omdat er vaak geen geld is voor opgeleid personeel. Een sommelier zie je nog maar zelden. Last night iReca got an update. While it’s patches and other things, one of the things that is currently standing out from the rest of the newly implemented features is the new login screen.
